What Is a Voidweaver?

A Voidweaver is the kind of shadowy spellcaster who looks at the fabric of reality, decides it’s entirely too neat and tidy, and starts pulling the loose threads just to see what happens. It represents weaving darkness, wielding strange and forbidden magic, and looking effortlessly menacing while doing it.

The Brew

I don’t do mass-produced. To make a set of runes that actually speaks, you need the right ingredients. For the Voidweaver set, I had to slip past the edge of known space where the light stops working and grab whatever was floating in the dark:

• The Boysenberry (Purple): Deep, bruised violet pulled straight from the heart of a closing portal.

• The Black: Heavy, absolute shadow gathered where light goes to die.

• The Villainous (Purple Pearl): A sinister, shimmering pearl dust that catches the light with a toxic, wicked glow—the signature mark of someone up to no good.

• The Anchor (Black): Thick, pitch-dark resin pooled from the bottom of the void. I used it to outline the old ᚠᚢᚦᚨᚱᚲ (Futhark) symbols, locking all that reality-bending mischief securely inside.
