What Is a Drogon?

Named after a notoriously short-tempered, roof-melting, sheep-eating winged reptile who refuses to listen to anybody—especially his self-proclaimed mother—this set channels absolute apocalyptic petulance. It represents flying over your problems, burning down your own problems, and generally making it everyone else’s issue.

The Brew

I don’t do mass-produced. To make a set of runes that actually speaks, you need the right ingredients. For the Drogon set, I had to sneak past a very cranky, scales-and-fire setup just long enough to grab what I needed before getting incinerated:

• The Crimson (Red): Freshly spilled, molten rage squeezed straight from the throat of a black-scaled beast mid-tantrum over not getting his way.

• The Black: Soot and charcoal scraped off the throne room floor after an overgrown lizard decided steel furniture was too mainstream.

• The Anchor (Black): Heavy, ash-choked residue scraped from a scorched battlefield. I ground it down to a fine powder to outline the old ᚠᚢᚦᚨᚱᚲ (Futhark) symbols, locking all that fiery, property-destroying chaos safely inside the resin.
