Grind Options
The Huckleberry comes standard as a Hollow Grind, but I offer a Flat Grind at no extra charge as a custom option. Here is the difference:

Hollow Grind (Standard): This grind curves inward toward the center of the blade “scooping the center”, creating a thin, razor-sharp edge. It is the ultimate “slicer”—ideal for skinning, processing game, and cutting rope due to there being no resistance on the cut. The only thing making contact is the edge. That being said it is more susceptible to chipping. Due to there not being as much “meat” behind the edge. In everyday use cutting rope, game, and boxes this will never fail you.

Flat Grind (Optional): This grind tapers in a straight line from the spine to the edge. It leaves more steel behind the edge, making it a “tank” of a blade. If you plan on hard use like heavy wood processing or light chopping and hacking motions, the flat grind offers maximum durability.
Materials & Craftsmanship

The Steel: Hand-ground 80CrV2. This is a “super-carbon” steel known for its incredible toughness and ability to hold a razor edge through hard work.

The Finish: A heavy Stonewash that hides scratches and provides a rugged, non-reflective look.

The Handle: African Wenge Wood scales. Wenge is an exotic, dense hardwood known for its striking dark grain and natural durability.
